Still Getting Rankings When You Buy Expired Domain Names? |

The traditional way of thinking when people look to buy expired domain names is that investors will benefit from page ranks. Most people buy expired domain names in the hopes that they can get a name with some established page rank and therefore capitalize on the traffic these types of cheap domain name registrations can produce. However, before you buy expired domain names make sure that the page rankings associated with the domain name are still current. Sometimes when domain names fall from the search engines due to expiration, they end up losing the ranking they used to have. In general sense, an expired domain loses all its page rankings and accumulated traffic, as soon as it drops and become defunct. It means that some of the expired domains in the registry are as good as dead and useless. Therefore, when you look to buy expired domain names try to look for domains that have expired a short time ago. Ideally, you want to buy expired domain names that expired on the same day that you buy it. This can be a bit tough since you have to be on top of the domain cycle to know exactly when to purchase your domain. You can still find a diamond in the rough, but don't assume that all you have to do is buy expired domain names and that you’ll have all the traffic associated with them.
